I have the feeling the shot is not quite in focus, or the exposure time was just a bit too slow to capture this more clearly.

Classic and well captured. I wonder what this would look like if the focal plane were on the fish rather than the fisherman? I mean that out of curiosity rather than criticism as I haven't tried this type of shot before. This is a refreshing and fun entry in this challenge.
