Good colour choice. A little strange in terms of layout -- it looks flat (I wouldn't have known it was a hat without the title clue) and disconnected.

Great texture. The horizontalness of it makes it feel a bit static to me. Could you have tilted it a little to make it slightly more dramatic?

I'd like to have seen more hair or more hat. Like a landscape with the horizon right in the middle this creates quite a lot of tension between the blue hat and the ginger hair. Creative take on the challenge.
