I realized that all wouldnot understand my pic since I was unable to explain what the whole concept of faith meant.Now let me explain- this is a picture taken at the pious banks of river Ganga at the most religious place of worship for the Hindus at Haridwar( Gateway to Lord's Home) Prayers are offered to the Godess, Ganga with flowers and lighting lamps and leaving the lamps in the holy water of the river.The cans in the photograph are those sold there for the devotees to collect the holy water and take it home, to be used as God's gift.This photograph was taken by me keeping in view that the people of various colors,caste and creed come here with the faith to pray and get solitude.

Incredible face, but waaaay over sharpened - there is an unnatural outline around the ears, and he doesn't look very sad at all. More bemused.

Some really nice lighting here, but the sharp line where you carved away the background is very distracting. My eye is wandering over the lovely tones and textures on the face and BANG that edge on the right side from his ear to the collar grabs the eye and runs away with it. It is a small part of what is otherwise a very nice image, but everything else is so deftly handled, it sticks out.

As a westerner, I am left wondering what these colors have to do with faith. I feel the story is left untold. That being said, the colors do pop and stand out well from the rest of the scene.
