Day 7 Bee Balm & Pestby annigComment by Tuckersmom: I like the black and white version, that little monster looks almost metallic. Nice composition. Very unique and interesting shot.
Oh and no, do not get one of those traps , they are horrible and just bring them all to your yard. And then you have a bag filled with 5 pounds of dead beetles. Not a pretty sight! |

Day 6- Hastaby annigComment by Brad: The bud you captured here reminds me of a moth or butterfly emerging from it's cocoon. Metamorphosis regardless.
I imagine this doesn't have nearly the impact it did in person. |

Thanks for not cloning out the pollen from the one leaf. That is the real world there. The soft focus outwards of the center really draws my eyes inwards. |

Day 1- Echinacaeby annigComment by Brad: I've never really looked closely at the center on one of these.
On the outside, it looks like syringes like a dentist uses to administer Novocaine, and the delicate flowers on the inside, looking like, well, delicate flowers. ;)
The soft approach on this was the right choice. |
