Button Bay Sunset redoby annigComment by Brad: Much better crop.
See how the leading lines work for you in the sky as well as the water?
I'd still take just a bit more off the bottom now. |

Sunset at Button Bay Inletby annigComment by annig: Originally posted by Brad: Is this on the East shore of Lake Champlain, north of Arnold Bay?
Used to be called Button Mould Bay.
Inset line is alternate crop, sharpened, dropped exposure -0.75EV
Oh, and I know nothing about the the lake - never heard of it before. :) |
yes, I live about 10 mins away by car, if I remember the correct backroads to take!
Bradley, thanks..I can try the crop, not sure about the specifics in exposure, haven't made the plunge to the Major $$ CS2 I have on my computer --old dog, new tricks, that sort of thing...

Moonlit Madnessby annigComment by annig: Originally posted by MelonMusketeer: I like night shots, and this is a good one. The purple fringe around the edges of the trees makes it special. Moonlight images seem to have a shadowless quality that seems so serene.
If you can view the shooting info, it is sometimes helpful to other photographers to include it with the images when you upload them. I am guessing that this was about 30 seconds at 400 iso, f 5.6 ? |
um, actually f/6.3 @ 4s ISO 100. |

Pure Boy, Mother's Joy!!by annigComment by Tej: Wow! This is beautiful. Love the way 'natural unfaked emotions' are captured. Pure emotions, pure heart, pure joy :)
Technically b/w is great choice. |
