St. Francis Mission Churchby annigComment by slaakso: I can honestly say I had never seen a lavender church, until now that is. Looks southwestern with the color and the scalloped gable end. Gorgeous colors, POV and light. I think the motif in this church is the cross. I am guessing that on the open door there is a cross so that would make for 5 in my count. |

Highway 18, Rosebud, SDby annigComment by slaakso: Another lovely sunset, this time in yellow orange. It somehow looks warmer in SD with this bright and warm sunset. Could be a Miller Beer ad, not that I like or drink Miller but the jingle, 'When it's time to relax, one beer stands clear, Miller Beer', just popped into my head. Maybe I'm thirsty. |

Wild turkeys 2by annigComment by slaakso: And no bottles thereof. Lovely gobble of turkeys (actually a flock of Turkeys, //palomaraudubon.org/collective.html). I was thinking along the lines of a gaggle of geese. This is the opposite of what one usually sees in a wildlife photo. Most of the birds are looking your way. Great textures, exposure and processing. |
