Vertical Viewby ManicComment by TooCool: IMHO this shot is a little confusing to me at first viewing. First thing I thought was why isn't the buliding coming up from the bottom of the frame. Second thought was what am I supposed to be looking at. The lines of the building lead my eye through the shot into the sky, but there is a light right in the middle of the shot that interupts the flow...

Vertical Viewby ManicComment by Sammie: This is a good picture with lines the main subject of the shot. However, I think it would have been more effective if it had been left vertical instead of tipped on the side so it looks horizontal. One would get much more of that feeling of extreme height if it was vertical. |

Vertical Viewby ManicComment by Kavey: Hello!!!
You might remember me screaming about the birds but I remember you peering up at the lamp posts!
I dolike this, I like that you've turned it on it's side and I like the composition. Black and white works well to emphasise the geometric shapes.
I like the round reflections or lights or whatever they are we can see in the windows - I never noticed those on the day.
And I do like the fact that the sky has that cloud texture in it. Adds interest.
Makes me feel cold just looking at it but only because I remember how bleeding windy it was!
Good luck!
Now give me a comment please! |
