Thanks for all the comments. Yes, the bird was definitely real, and I erected the perch on Tuesday and finally got this shot on Friday. I had a couple of other shots with finches on the pencil, but the titmouse is a less frequent visitor! I only had this and two other shots in total to pick from, so was a tough but rewarding challenge for me.
