Want to be like you one day...by asheppComment by Trinch: Perhaps a bit of a shoehorn for this challenge, but regardless, a brilliantly creative eye. To see the proportional similarity between the post and tower takes talent. The bird droppings on the lamp post also adds a humbling sense to it as it aspire to greatness.
To improve the image... I think a smaller aperture would help bring both foreground and background into focus. Also, a UV and/or polarizing filter could help cut through the haze which is robbing you photo of much contrast. |

Want to be like you one day...by asheppComment by tcc: Great idea. Possibly a bit wasted in "Partners", though. The crispness and the colours of the background make it look artificial - not unpleasant, but strange. It wouldn't have hurt to have the main character focused as well. An extra point for humour. |

Want to be like you one day...by asheppComment by nabusl: Great concept, the pole in the foreground is a little fuzzy which is understandable seeing as it would be hard to foucus on 2 things when one is 20ft from you and the other is 300 yards. This picture really brings out the beauty of seattle, Its a great city. |

Want to be like you one day...by asheppComment by Bujanx: I think this is a pretty cute idea, not sure how the others will take it - but I think it fits the challenge! Love the foreground bokeh, good shot of the space needle (it is the space needle right? I've never been to Seatle...)
I think I would have tried to play with the curves a bit, maybe bring out some more blue in the sky and maybe less blue in the building windows? |
