Headache Ballby DrakeComment by awpollard: This is a very cool shot. One does get the feeling that heavy thing could fall at any moment, so we have to keep watching the center. The only real thing that I could see hurting your score is the distracting tree in the lower left. I'm kind of ify with the amount of noise in the picture, there seems to be quite a bit but I have issues shooting into an overcast sky too. I may have cloned out the tree and used the remove dust filter (I use digital image pro - don't know what PS has for this) to clean it up a bit. Great Idea, very good picture. |

Fast Drivingby DrakeComment by Falc: No sense of speed here, needs some motion blur. As it is the car could be parked up. Need to use a slower speed and either pan to put the background into motion or held to put the car into motion. |

Fast Drivingby DrakeComment by TechnoShroom: I think it would be more appropriate to pan with the subject to get some motion blur in the background rather than having the subject look like it's standing still. |

Headache Ballby DrakeComment by photom: Ouch! Unique take on the challenge - original. It shouts for a blue sky to help bring out the redish colors of the wrecking ball. |

Headache Ballby DrakeComment by Zoomdak: Background is too grainy, IMO. Ball doesn't seems exactly dead center. I like the tree in the lower left corner. Adds good perspective. |

Headache Ballby DrakeComment by e301: Exceptionally sparse composition, though i think you could have afforded to brighten the whole thing to a greater extent: your sky is only mid-grey, and absolutely featureless - might have had more impact if you had taken this closer to a silhouettte. Perhaps what will most let your score down is that this is not really an image suited to a centred composition, you've just cropped it that way. 3 |
