Three things about this image are going to hurt your score just a little bit. First, the image is smaller than what is allowed. Your longest side should be 640 pixels instead of 400 pixels. Two, the image looks tilted to the right. Third, the image isn't sharply focused. Did you sharpen the image after you down sized it for the challenge? Most people use Unsharp Mask with a radius of 1 or smaller after downsizing. You found a cultural event that meets the challenge nicely and the children look like they are having a lot of fun. A bit more attention to the post processing details and you will find your scores will improve greatly.
