nice color on the head and wing. i wish you had been able to crop a little tighter as i find the green stuff floating in the pond at the top distracting (and the head coming out of the head).

Some nasty pixellation on the dusk's wings - perhaps too high a level of compression? Or did you resize it to a very low res? Or is it a very low-res camera?

Looks VERY pixellated around its nerside wing. The whole thing looks grainy in fact - have you had to compress this a lot? It's a pity because it's a nice idea for the shot, and looks to have been well-captured.

Composition - Excellent composition. The silhouette is really good and the colors of the sky are beautiful. Good framing with only a little of the skyline showing at the bottom and the rest just sky. The vast array of colors across the sky is great, with the reds and oranges at the bottom and the pinks and greys across the top. Very well done

Technical - The hard part of this pic is the taking of the picture at the correct exposure. You did really well on this one, judging by the way I like to see my own photos come out that are similar to this. The sun is pretty hot in this photo exposure-wise, and it should be because IT'S THE SUN!!! Now for the sky, I have to say its a little oversaturated looking at the pixelation. Its just a fuzz too much in my estimation and that's why it pixelated. I'm sure thats a lot of the reason the other colors look so good. I reckon you gotta take the bad with the good. I don't think I'd have done the same thing.

Overall - Beautiful photo and well done for the most part. I never get sick of a good sunrise or sunset. Hope this could be a little helpful for you. Good luck in future challenges. - Inspzil

You're getting a lot of pixelating in your photo. Someone told me last week to push the limit on filesize if possible -- maybe you could try this as well.
