Fresh Homemade Lemonadeby JLCComment by iamwiggles: I think maybe the grass takes away a bit of the focus on the subject. Maybe a flatter surface, or shorter grass would've helped. |

Day 21 -Fork in the grass.by JLCComment by littlegett: What a lazy lolling fork.. can't blame it though, if I had a nice patch of grass here in the desert, I might do the same thing L()L. Interesting how the fork has so much light, and the grass around it doesn't seem so bright. Pretty cool. |

Cow's and Rainbowby JLCComment by JLC: Originally posted by Citadel: I'd have to agree with Slaakso. 1/2 second hand holding is pretty much impossible with that lens. I would have increased the ISO until you were able to shoot at around 1/300th of a second. Remember you can hand hold if your shutter speed if it is faster than the inverse of your focal length, in this case 300mm so 1/300th of a second. Of course if you were on the shorter end of that (75mm) you could use a shutter speed of about 1/80th of a second or so.
You could also have simply used a tripod but it sounds like this was a "found shot" so you may not have had your tripod handy. |
Thank you for your comments. I am learning a lot here at DPC and appreciate all the comments I can get. This particular photo was taken from inside the car, and it was running. It was raining pretty good and I didn't want to get my camera wet. I should have changed my settings. Thank you again! Jerry Message edited by author 2007-08-21 15:28:31. |
