On a rock.by JLCComment by Melethia: Very nice light - soft and pretty, and enhances the pastels of the picture well. Your horizon is a little crooked - do you use Photoshop? There's a handy ruler tool located the same place as the eyedropper tool. Right click on the eyedropper and you'll be able to choose the ruler. Click on one end of the lake, hold the mouse key down and drag to the other end. Then you can go to I think it's Image, then rotate, then arbitrary, and the program will have the amount of rotation already there for you. If you don't use Photoshop, use a cropping tool that you can rotate - draw a rectangular box with the tool, then drag it down til the top is where the water line is, rotate it til it's straight, then put the box back to where it encompasses the picture the way you want it to. And if none of this makes sense, send me a PM and I'll try to explain it better! |

Old Barnby JLCComment by Haneck: Neat! I like the vibrant blue sky, the subtle gray colors on the roof and fence. The lighting is a little harsh here... it might be neat to try and take this shot again at a different time of day. Just a thought. Cool image though, nice shot! :) |

Great Salt Lake Sunsetby JLCComment by Haneck: I would suggest straightening the horizon out... but otherwise this is a really beautiful image! The swirling tones of the clouds are wonderful! |

Our Homeby JLCComment by SandyP: I'll say she does. This is one of the most charming houses I've ever seen. I can't believe I know someone who lives in a house this awesome. And you captured it beautifully. The shade in the foreground actually enhances it, I think, giving it even more of a cool, wonderful place to enjoy in the sun.
Thanks for sharing this with us!

Planting Flowersby JLCComment by SandyP: I love this one too. In fact, this may be my favorite of the two because the composition really appeals to me to enhance those wonderful old hands! I wish I had gotten a picture like this of my mom and grandmom doing this. They would mean alot to me now.
