They say there are two known portraits (paintings) of JS Bach.... one has been privately owned for long enough that it is relatively untouched .. the other still resides on a wall in a church in the town where it was painted. Evidently the students he taught had used it as a dartboard though and it doesn't really look like him. HA HA HA.. isn't this great!!!
I hope I go down with a portrait as good as this one.
