A well done photomerge, not I would have caught it since some of the distortion could be attributed to the lens. Love the PP on this, very 1800's feel.

I like your musing on the drive-by process. I have a feeling that all photography would be improved if it was unintentional, or at least unpremeditated. Maybe cameras should have no viewfinders at all? Some of my best images happened with little help from me.

I've thought of a pano with the LB, but I have never done a pano of anything, and it would probably take me all night to figure it out, and with poor results. I like!
Always wanted a house with a turret.

We should do a drive by challenge. There are so many things I see when driving around but never pull over, mainly because there's not a place to do so...or I'm afraid someone will come out with a gun and shoot me.

Oh...and it seems like you live in a cool little town.

Interesting shot. I still lament the standard focal distance of my 3G and will have to try the wide angle attachment, which I don't have, for a little more view.
Good to keep that camera at the ready. You'll never know when you may have a opportunity for a UFO photo!

Focus Pocus, am pretty sure if I was able to focus the LB properly my images would look worse than they already do lol. I'm liking this a lot!

I suppose those must be shelves of books behind it, but with the LB bokeh I can imagine them the cold, corrugated metal walls of a spaceship. I have no escape!

Such a nice old photo look to this. Ordinarily, given my tastes, I might feel this shot was too hemmed in at the sides, but I think the extreme vertical crop works well with this, complements the verticality of the narrow turret and that wonderful tree, a wonderful "intruder" into the composition.
