wheelsby cginoComment by ubique: I like your musing on the drive-by process. I have a feeling that all photography would be improved if it was unintentional, or at least unpremeditated. Maybe cameras should have no viewfinders at all? Some of my best images happened with little help from me. |

wheelsby cginoComment by tph1: Interesting shot. I still lament the standard focal distance of my 3G and will have to try the wide angle attachment, which I don't have, for a little more view.
Good to keep that camera at the ready. You'll never know when you may have a opportunity for a UFO photo! |

Ordinarily, given my tastes, I might feel this shot was too hemmed in at the sides, but I think the extreme vertical crop works well with this, complements the verticality of the narrow turret and that wonderful tree, a wonderful "intruder" into the composition. |
