stalkerby cginoComment by ErinM: That background is uber-cool. Love the intense, stalkerish gaze on Greystoke's face. |

High Riseby cginoComment by tinky2: Really different perspective with the crop. I really like the colors of the building. |

televisionby cginoComment by Ecce_Signum: Colleen, please be lazy again, this is a really clever image and looking through the window I think I'd stay in as well. |

motorin'by cginoComment by ubique: My advice is to try horses ... they never accost you when you take their picture. They're much easier to get on with than people. On the other hand, around people you generally don't need to be so careful about what you might step in.
Edit to add: I had meant to leave an actual comment in addition to the wisecrack. It's the dark corners and the delicately lacy centre that makes it so interesting. Like I blinked while I was looking at it. Or the difference between rod and cone vision. Or something like that. Or maybe it's an event seen from two points of view at once ... one of those relativistic paradoxes (but I don't understand those enough to sort it out). Anyway, it's more absorbing with every moment invested in it. BTW, why is the motorcyclist's flag so limp? Is he stopped? Or is the flag only apparently limp, relative to the ... oh, forget that! High Riseby cginoComment by Neil: I like the crop and the general approach. In addition to the sky though, as already mentioned, I'd suggest making the foreground grass softer and more natural like the original; the "contrasty" look as shown here makes the image look like too much is going on. |

wheelsby cginoComment by Ecce_Signum: Originally posted by Art Roflmao: I love drive-by shooting! It's like a treasure hunt when you start going through them. This shot is a, um, shiny penny. :) |
Thought you were more of a 'burn your village' man than a drive by shooter Art!
Colleen, am glad your are an (almost) safe drive-by shooter, 100 duds to get a couple of keepers is a decent average. After doing Karen's krnodil Pinhole SC in November I find I can compose a shot quite well without looking through the viewfinder these days and am sure your hit ratio of duds to keepers will improve ;)
This image rocks btw! |

televisionby cginoComment by tph1: I have never seen a photo of a TV that I did like until this one. Great capture. A little spooky even! Message edited by author 2009-01-25 16:20:32. |
