It meets the challenge, but there really isn't enough context about the shot to tell why it is important or interesting. Maybe if it were closer so the viewer could see only the hair clasp, or necklace, but not all.

Nice shot in many ways, but the ashtray is hideous, at least IMO. I'd love it with a white ashtray, or a simple design anyway; what you actually used is competing with the key elements. Be nice if you'd squared the ashtray up with the image edge also...

Nice idea, but the background is too cluttered; distracts and leads to a "snapshottish" feel. Some moody lighting would be good, too, rather than straight natural light.
