Natalieby MarioAngelComment by talikf: I like this portrait although I think I would increase the contrast a little bit to improve it so she stands out more from the background. Very nice indeed. |

Natalieby MarioAngelComment by Louis: Overall this is a lovely portrait. The choice to keep the background in focus like this is usually a tricky one. Sometimes it works better than others. It's ok here because it's quite uniform, it's a nice scene, and it sets her in an environment. But it could be a tad distracting if only for its business or the fact that her face isn't perfectly exposed. But a great image nonetheless. |

Natalieby MarioAngelComment by SandyP: I really like this. This is a great time of day to take portraits where the lighting isn't harsh at all. It makes for really nice tones on her face.
I have a feeling she is going to love this photo. It looks kind of candid and unposed which for me always adds to the look of a portrait.

Natalieby MarioAngelComment by TCGuru: The muted colours are good and I like the way you manipulated the f stop for the background focus. I am with Erin on the sparkle but I would also like just a taaaaaad more light on her face. Just my personal preference, it is fine the way it is :) |

Natalieby MarioAngelComment by ErinM: You did a great job with the DOF to keep your subject clearly in focus and separated from the backgound, while still allowing the surrounding environment enough clarity to complement the portrait. The nice, warm, even light enhances the natural beauty of your model. A hint of sparkle in the eyes might improve the image even more, but perhaps it works well as it is to lend a far-off, introspective mood. |

Quentinby MarioAngelComment by pamelasue: Great angle ... like his expression ... you seem to have captured his personality pretty well ... the only thing that slightly bothers me is the reflection in his glasses ... I want to see his eyes in sharp focus ... |

Early Spring Bloomby MarioAngelComment by raish: Right then, joke's on me as I now have to plough through 564 images and bump them all (yes, all of them) up. There'll be a third run through for fine tuning. It's day two now and I'm running late, sorry.

Quentinby MarioAngelComment by TCGuru: I like this a LOT!! I do have to agree about the glasses but it also adds a neat perspective to this shot :) |
