putt, putt, puttby scwalshComment by sherpet: I really love the water surface here, with its silvery ripples, and wonderful abstract reflections.....
I think this is a very pleasing image, and could almost be a photo suitable for a jig-saw puzzel.....
I like it..... great wotk..... |

waterfallby scwalshComment by Grandad: Originally posted by AlexSaberi: I Like this one too. Maybe try going there when the light is fading. then use a longer shutter speed to create a blur of the water. using a tripod of course. |
or go the other way, and use a very high shutter speed, to freeze the water, as it is it looks like it was shot on auto, go experiment. |

tied up on shoreby scwalshComment by h2: very nice shot, like the vivid colors and the tight crop. a tad too sharp in parts maybe. I personally like borders, but they should be used carefully; this one's too bold IMO and in addition, the white border is irregular (stronger at right and top) |

tied up on shoreby scwalshComment by howzitboy: looks almost like a pen and pencil drawing. just bit too much sharpness for my tastes and not enough blacks. it almost likes like a HDR picture. |

boardwalkby scwalshComment by howzitboy: i dont know if its just me but this picture doesnt tell a story. theres nothing that really catches your eye and hold it. I keep looking for the point of interest but there isnt one.
and i think theres bright and dark, but nothing in between. |

old stageby scwalshComment by Wink: Reminds me of my old fish stage. It's easy to overexpose with fog and you get plenty of that where you are. |
