It does kind of look like HDR, doesn't it? Well, it's just straight processing from a single RAW file. In fact, I didn't even use Fill Light or Shadows/Highlights tool. I did, however, us a polarizer, which helped darken the sky a bit.

Minimalist imagery is always appreciated. A solid image that is crisp, sharp and properly framed and composed - a technical success in every way. From an artistic standpoint, it has significant impact being richly colored with excellant detail. This image would have worked as a black and white as well. A perfect demonstration of the power of properly controlled light and focus. Well done.

I really enjoy this picture, but I think it may have looked better without the boat. Besides that though great job. The tree is quite interesting and the sky in the distance really make this picture flow better.
