Definately something we can all relate to, I'm sure. The background bothers me here. It's crooked and angled. Not enough to be dramatic, but rather just looks like you weren't paying attention to lining up your background, which unfortunately makes it look like more of a snapshot. Which is ok too. I have plenty. lol. I wonder how this would have come out if your angle were just a bit lower. It looks a little more planned if we get down to the kids level and take the shot straight on. Focus looks good, and lighting also looks ok. ~Heather~

They do love the cookie dough, don't they! My girls used to actually stick their heads in the bowl to lick it, what a mess! :)

This is a lovely shot, a very big part of the baking/cooking process, having the kids involved and teaching them. I like the cropping, the picture looks a bit skewed, slightly off balance, I thnk it's the way te floor flows through the shot. The B&W works well with this shot, helps keep the background from becoming too distracting. A tad more sharpness, contrast and balance overall and I would score this much higher. Starting at a 5 but I will be back, I too cannot resist cookie dough.

Nice capture, evokes memories. I like the black & white tone, it helps calm the shot down. I find it a bit busy with all the items in the background - but the coloring helps diffuse that. Your model is adorable and the lighting looks good. A little more focus on the face, rather than the dress would've appealed to me more but overall its a good shot! 7

It's a cute shot, but I'm not sure it has a lot of artistic value. The background seems to be awfully cluttered; the same shot with a pure black background would probably do really well -- as it is, it just seems a little "snapshot-ish."

You've cropped too closely to the girl's head at the top. I would have placed the girl further down and a little more to the right following the rule of thirds. That would have enhanced your image immensely. I like the way you have captured her in full run with her arms in the air. It looks very natural.

This brings back the memory of licking the bowl after mixing the chocolate. Interesting take on the subject. Pretty good contrast. Looks like she's definitely enjoying the aftermath of the mixing.

Nice stop action on the girl compared to the motion feel of the flowers. I like the idea that she might have just popped up and started running but the cropping of the shot seems just off to me, if the girl was more to the right maybe? Also the colors seem a tad off. Starting with a 7 on this one
