Arriving In His Car Seatby jimmspComment by greenem2: Critique Club
Very cute and humorous! I love the rich colors and crisp focus. There are a few things IMO that could have made this photo even better. The obvious one is the warning sticker on the seat. If you had time you could have placed some cloth over it perhaps. Also, the whites are blown out due to the flash. This is forgivable since the main focus is on the baby's face. Lastly, I think this is an instance where one would like the subject dead center. I would have tried to compose it so that the baby was head on and filled the entire frame.
An overall good job. A few simple adjustments in environment and composition and you'd have a winner in my book.

Arriving In His Car Seatby jimmspComment by PTLParsons: I'm sorry, but I had to laugh when I saw this. The hat over his eyes and the expression on his face are too much. This is precious. I just gave it away I'm a woman scoring this (precious). My biggest problem, and maybe only, is that the chair is leaning to the right, and I find myself leaning with it. The subject is cute as can be; the focus is right on; the colors are fantastic, the cropping is nice, maybe leave the other side of the chair in also; meets the challenge; and he is wearing a seat belt, TG, and it is on correctly. Without leaning would be a 10. As is right now is an 8. We'll see later. PTL |
