Nemo: The Truth About Clown Fishby KINGComment by Quadrajet: Greetings from the Critique Club!
KING,
I have to agree, this image is extraordinarily sharp, I can see why though...I also have a 50 f/1.8. The first thing that grabbed me about this image was the colors of the rock in the upper left and the colors of the fish. The dark background works perfectly and the positioning of the fish (composition) is extremely well done. There really isn't much to critique about this image so I'll stop right here and say, great work!

Roadlinesby KINGComment by Prof_Fate: like the color, but the angle is wrong to me - a road sign with no road! the powre lines are not particulary photogenic either. |

Nemo: The Truth About Clown Fishby KINGComment by KING: Thank you all for your comments! Regarding the amount of sharpness I have to say that I didn't do much about it. It just that the 50/f1.8 is so sharp =-). Another reason can be the DOF caused by the large aperture and the difference in distance between especially the top fish and the rocks in the background. |
