Natural light in a macro setting, it's hard to complain about anything concerning the lighting - the image, yes, but the lighting no. Well done.

A technical success, it's less than successful in an artistic sense. DOF control is on the edge of being good and the lighting isn't over done creating blooms. The subject is less than interesting. Perhaps a different background with a slightly different angle would have helped. A little more thought and better framing would have brought the rating higher.

What a happy picture!!! Fabulous spring colors. She's precious. That being said, I find the subject and content wonderful, but am not thinking, wow - look at the lighting on this.

beautiful portrait with great details in the feathers. his/her beak is a little soft, maybe a slightly less shallow dof would have helped a bit there. of course, with a bird i guess you need to keep the shutter speed as fast as possible, but this looks well lit. i'm rambling. nice job!
