Like this picture just as it is. You could of course just crop the excellently lighted portrait and have a "perfect" picture, but I like the contrast with the paintinglike outside, though I tend to like things the camera does without too much control. In any case, this certainly shows off your Nikon and what you can do with it. (Suspect it would have scored much higher in some other challenge).

Wow, that's a red roof, I like your framing, nice use of 3rds for your subject. The angle of the walkway draws your eyes right to the RED roofed building. Nice clear photo. 9

There is a tint to the color in this that I find distracting, perhaps it is from the harsh lighting.

Right then, joke's on me as I now have to plough through 564 images and bump them all (yes, all of them) up. There'll be a third run through for fine tuning.

They may actually be something like this, but the colours look saturated to fake proportions. Skewed water line and verticals on the walls. Soft. 5

Nice smile. The teddy bear mug distracts attention away from subject.

there's kind of a natural sepia tone to this that I like. and dynamic composition. I also like the beautiful indirect natural light, which probably contributes to that sepia I was talking about. 8

Very nice composition, a softer light on each side I think would have worked better for you. I like the soft skin tones.
