Greetings from the CC. I like your subject, I think pregnant women make radiant subjects. Your shot conveys a real simplicity and subtle beauty. Her face really conveys all the feelings of pregnancy, lots of emotion. I think your shot shows a longing for the child to be swinging with her. However I would of cropped a significant amount off the top, at least to the fence and maybe a bit off each side to help maintain the shape dimensions. Losing the right top (over-exposed) would of helped a lot too. This is not probably a wow photo, but I think it is a personally appealling shot (more so to her family and friends) tho it does have a very human element to it. Hope that helps a little, keep shooting.

I love the mood of this and that the couple comes into view as in real life, as you look around.

Hmmmmm!!!! An atmospheric shot.

If this was a candid then I can see why the subjects are "remote" but is set up then a tighter portrait image would be better.

However, for this I would prefer a a crop of the left hand side putting the kissing couple on the thirds and losing all that dead space.

how sweet
It may have been better if you were closer to the couple

This photo to me is too wide open. I would have tried to bring it in a little closer to the subjects because as it stands now I think you lose the impact of your message by barely being able to see them. Maybe even gone more verticle with it to include the top of the street lamp and less of a horizontal shot.

I think the light source on the top should be cropped. Anyway, I like the story and the composition here. :-)

Comment by Dave Gordon:
Placing the couple in a small section of the picture is very effective. Leaving in the background gives the picture an ambiance that a closer point of view would have lost. The way the lights and the lighter sidewalk lead toward the coulple adds to the effect of the composition.
