Interesting... Very zen-like. The low sun angle adds nice strong shadows on the subject and the texture of the road as well. A look of determination on the subject's face... Staring into the sun as if to oppose it. Nice shot!

Did you try this with a car screaming down the road from behind? Good imagery (use of elements). Subject's glasses are unfortunate, but I wear them and understand issues about seeing eyes. Try it w/o the glasses, nobody else has to know he's blind. Also, the background trees appear almost black, did you want that? Did you try this from the opposite side of the road? (Just suggestions, do your own thing! It's working.)

Looks more like a turkey than a chicken. Sorry I really tried to not say that. I voted down for the gray on gray. Black and white should have both this has tones of gray.

this is such an interesting shot. when i first looked at it, i thought it had been crazy-zoom effected but then i realized that its look down between rock walls. very neat picture, i love the convergence of line in the distance
