Doing a butterfly in b/w was a different approach, but it has no impact for me. Perhaps some partial or selective desaturation instead?

contrast is too high here, wish there was more drawing visible in the dark areas of the butterfly and in the bright petals. right and upper border look slightly blurred.

cute! I love the motion in the skirt. The stool seems a bit noisy so I think you could have cut back on that by darkening the shadows to make it more of a true black

This is a "striking image" there is great tonal quality here and it really does comunicate movement, great idea the hammer and the eggs.
