Spirit of the Windby dafletchrComment by bdenny: I'm still of the mindset that 'good' photos are formally composed, uber-sharp, etc etc. But seeing pictures like this helps me break out of that. It's a very powerful shot but it's one that I would probably overlook. I'm glad you didn't. :) |

Jump Rope Cowboy Styleby dafletchrComment by trevytrev: Very cool PP and texture to add to this shot. I think it makes it look vintage as if I were thumbing through some old photos. Great border as well, nicely done! |

Jump Rope Cowboy Styleby dafletchrComment by joynim: This is great processing suits the image very well. The texture does seem to have missed the end of the bus ,it seems a bit more new and shinier than the rest of the image. |

Jump Rope Cowboy Styleby dafletchrComment by ErinM: Great composition, full of interest. I especially love the inclusion of the trailer. The suggestions for deepening the tones to bring out more texture are good ones, although your processing as it stands lends the image a worn, vintage look which works quite effectively with the subject matter. Definitely looks like it could have been taken 40-50 years back in time. |

Jump Rope Cowboy Styleby dafletchrComment by dafletchr: Wow, thank you for taking the time. Very much appreciated. Out of the four I really like the film grain one the best and the vignetting that resulted from burning and dodging. The deeping tones brings a new perspective to it. I'll have to experiment in creating richness through depth and tone. Thanks for the visuals! |
