Shot of Ice!by PearlyComment by Dantzr: too dark for my taste although what I do see is nicely situated in the frame and clear of focus. My problem with this is that if you didn't tell us ice was int eh glass, I would have had to guess. Try using just a small bit of light to help define all the items present, even if you want the picture to have dark overtones. Something soft. Even if you don't have the expensive lights and covers and filters and such, you can improvise. I have many times used table lamps, reading lights and so on either by themselves or with a cloth draped over the bulb. In this case... maybe a 7 watt night light with a white t-shirt draped over it might get the subtlety you were shooting for, and the clarification of the contents I would like.
