I like the composition (compared to the other "card shots")...a dominant OOF background suggesting the game,bets,drink etc and then the cards close up to the viewer in the foreground.

I dont like such a shallow depth of field here. It just looks strange. Open it up and bring the background into better focus. I do like the sharp blacks against the muted brownish background. Good photo!

thank you, thank you, thank you for taking the playing card idea for the challenge and interjecting some creativity into it to produce an interesting and well-made shot. elements are well chosen and arranged. like that you used a use set of cards, goes well with the other elements and the warm lighting. nice use of shallow dof. one of two highest scores of 9 for this challenge.
