Thomson Treeby EdGhotiComment by Germaine: Beautiful colors and composition. Minor nit -- I wish there was a little more light in the crown of the tree -- on my monitor, it's coming across as pretty dark. |

Towards the Stormby EdGhotiComment by Wink: Beautiful lighting with great tonal latitude. The dark sky against the light grasses is amazing. |

The Chase Part 2by EdGhotiComment by EdGhoti: Originally posted by Wink: Boy, did you ever happen to be there at the right time. My heart's still pounding, and it doesn't look like the little one is going to have much of a chance. |
Thank you for your comment Wink.
I was very lucky in terms of the amount of cats I saw but also what I managed to see them doing. As for the prey, I never really gave it much consideration, I was biased towards the carnivores...cheetahs have been my favourite animals since I was a kid. At any rate, it didn’t really have a chance; there was a third cheetah behind these two.
All the best,

The End of the dayby EdGhotiComment by EdGhoti: Originally posted by Wink: Nice photo, full of fine detail and good subject composition. I'd be tempted to run it through some curves or levels but that's an artistic choice. Well done. |
Thank you for your comment Wink.
If you could run it through some curves or levels and then post your results with an explanation I would truly appreciate it.
All the best,
Ed |
