Hot Food - Too Cold to Eat!!!by jonpinkComment by adine: Chilly Pepers! Nice idea. Wish you had included the bottom ends of the peppers in the frame, as well as the other pepper's top. Did you desaturate to remove the green? A blue stem feels weird to my eyes. Perhaps another point of light from a different level would bring out detail in the ice. I really like your idea, just playing around with the details would make it much better. |

Hot Food - Too Cold to Eat!!!by jonpinkComment by justine: Not a bad take on a very difficult challenge. The quality of this shot is the biggest draw back IMHO. Where is the center of your focus? The crop is also cutting one pepper off. Sorry poor shot, but I do give you heaps of credit for coming up with this idea....it works! |

Hot Food - Too Cold to Eat!!!by jonpinkComment by dsa157: this could have been a realy nice still life. I like your choice of colors for the subject and background. the ice adds nice texture. good use fo negative space. I don't understand yur cropping decision, though. What is the reason for cutting off so much of the left pepper? |
