Interesting texture idea, nice choice of B&W. I feel there are too many elements in the shot that are distracting to notice an specific texture. Maybe another POV would help that.

This totally reminds me of the Wizard of Oz. Great capture of the clouds and talk about a photo with mood. This one is great. I would actually prefer to see this zoomed in just a little bigger. I would chop a little off the right side and nix the border... You can barely see it anyway. Great job not withstanding. 9

The challenge is black, but I think you've carried it too far. It's difficult to see enough of the main subject to tell what it is.

Title matches perfectly but the picture does not represent the challenge very well. Don't get me wrong it is a great photo by all means, but it would probably would do better in a different challenge.

Splendidly battered subject. Good work on the looming out of the trees trick, great exposure for me too (I suspect many won't like the darkness) Works very appropriately in black and white. Doesn't quite do the texture thing, in a oure sense - I don't get a strong sense of the feel of the thing, rather of the look and location, and of course a wonderful mood.

Rating photographs is very subjective, but I respectfully disagree with the majority on this fine image.

Composition is great and lighting very good. The image has interest by focusing on the frisbee and the technical quality is high.

This is a top three caliber shot. It will be recognized as an outstanding image long after this challenge and score are forgotten.

Nice sense of the texture of the earth. I also like the sun's rays breaking through the clouds (water). This picture works well in black and white.
