It was taken in Zurich - i cant remember the church tower i took it from tho, it was on a hill and had fantastic views of the city :)
Thanks for the appreciation to those who left comments and decent votes - you will always get the 1-4s voting on photos you may have put a 10 for... i never know how it happens with some shots. It was an interesting time watching the votes and comments come in.
Black and white was never going to be a good choice for the challenge - or DPC mostly - although will be interesting to see the result of the B&W and Weston challenges in terms of winning score... |

Conferenceby inshaalaComment by tph1: Front page material. Love the tones, detail and contrast. While I think some of Weston's fruits/veggies mimic the human form, subtly, here I am am reminded of birds. Or sea lions. If I was to nit pik, and I won't, I would say a 4x5 (or 5x4) crop would be more Weston'esque. No matter though. 9 from me. |

Conferenceby inshaalaComment by tanguera: I love this. I can easily see this on the front page. Beautiful lines, great tones and details, excellent depth. (not voting) |

Conferenceby inshaalaComment by DiscoVader: Hmm, I wish I knew what this was. I think you perfectly captured the best Weston sensibilities with this shot. I love the ambiguous motion and poses created by an almost abstract capture of something either unusual or just looked at unusually. I am not sure, but it does seem like the area around the brightest highlight is out of focus, so that detracts from the Westoniness. |

Conferenceby inshaalaComment by insteps: I like your lines and composition. Seems a little to sharp in areas for Weston but it's a nice image. |
