Interesting concept, long winded title though. The whole thing could do with being sharper, although if just the face was in focus then all would be well. Composition wise, the subject is placed in the centre of the frame and could be a lot more interesting if placed say a third from the left. On the background, there is a shadow (bottom right) and a specular highlight (mid right) both of which are very distracting.

Personally I would love to see more images of YOU by YOU, you have great natural Composition I think.. (nice lines) Granted this particular image is a bit flat for my taste, The gray tones at the top seem to mesh all together. I think we could really get some fantastic images from you the more you practice on yourself... its what I do. 6-; Im my own best model, Im always here. 6-;

Ah I love this one as well. Great land/beachscape! I've never seen water that blue. Well.. Maybe thats because the water I'm close to is filled with oil and that sort of stuff. Anyhow, thanks for taking this picture, I'm adding another spot to my list of places I still wanna visit :)

Have to say I like this portrait a lot. The (pretty) model seems very comfortable, and the location is also nicely chosen. I think the railroad tracks work very well in this picture, and that without them the picture would have been less interesting. Good job!
