Christmas Trees For Saleby bennettjamieComment by Yo_Spiff: Not sure what it is. Maybe the composition. Just comes off to me as a snap, I'm afraid, but I think there is really a lot more thought and effort in it. Wish I could nail it down for you better than that. |

Ripples Abstract 086.jpgby bennettjamieComment by Ja-9: just BTW...this could be used as an overlay (guess I'm not the first to suggest this....hmmm) very beautiful...love the colors and the ripples in it... Message edited by author 2009-05-03 09:54:38. |

Flower on pole.jpgby bennettjamieComment by Paul: Responding to your call for comments on these images.
Really nice image but I think it shouts 'straighten me'; having that vertical line adjacent to the right hand side of the image means that it shouldn't be anything other than perfectly vertical too. |

Pink Roses.jpgby bennettjamieComment by Paul: I like this image a lot, though clipping of the top of the rose probably detracts a little. Very nice light though. |

Krissy-3-7991.jpgby bennettjamieComment by Quigley: Jamie, wonderful bokeh in this shot. Krissy looks welcoming and relaxed. I would consider this type of shoot either later in the day or early in the morning to avoid the somewhat harsh overtones or bring along a reflector to use for fill light.
Keep up the good work.

Squirl-with-food.jpgby bennettjamieComment by Steef: this one is awesome! composition is great and the background is so sweet. could possibly use the tiniest bit of sharpening, but is fine without. in a fauna type challenge, i'd give this an 8. Message edited by author 2009-04-29 15:04:45. |

Christmas Trees For Saleby bennettjamieComment by risenphoenixster: I think this would have more impact if there was at least one full tree, unobstructed, that was completely in focus. I like the shot a lot, but having just a part of the first tree in the frame being the only thing in focus takes away from it. Still a nice shot. |
