I agree with what The_Tourist and david_c said. In addition, part of the background has the diagonal patterns of a chain link fence, especially on the left. Would fix that one way or another (blur, clone, etc).

There is good focus on the mountain lion's face, and the shallow DoF is nice.

However, the overall image is lacking in contrast (play with the curves and levels), and the white balance appears a bit "blue", or cool, to my eye. Maybe if you cropped as tight as you can, before losing any detail, and then played with a warming filter. A Photoshop plugin like Topaz Adjust of Nik Color EFEX might get you some interesting results.

The panther is a bit dark, in the shadows. Perhaps lightening the shadows in PP to bring out the details in the panthers head to shoulder area. Just a suggestion.

Nice shot. Gotta clone out that grass by his eye though. Congrats on the new toys I bet you are walking around looking at absolutely everything you see thinking, Hmmm how can I make a photo out of that.
