Tall Shipsby JamesAComment by bergiekat: I love all of the angles that the wires form. Your composition is quite good regarding the dark sales. Tack sharp and that sky is just amazing!! Great color on a great shot! Nice job. |

The Exorcistby JamesAComment by aprudhomme: This scene looks like it probably took quite awhile to set up, but the hard work payed off because this picture is simply outstanding. It has an edge, technically is great, and with the lighting it made for an amazing picture. Love it. |

The Bathroomby JamesAComment by aprudhomme: This picture has a really ominous feel that I quite enjoy. At the same time thought it looks like there is a light vanquishing the darkness and this clash amounts to a great picture. This picture definitely deserved to score higher than it did! |

Why?by JamesAComment by HarryY: A great shot, I like the sepia tones used it definately adds to the feeling coming across. The highlights on the face are a bit washed out but he was probably looking about that white anyway after the night he had! |

My Kingdomby JamesAComment by rooum: Great composition. The monkey could be a bit sharper i suppose. There is a great sense of impending motion that you have captured really well with the negative space. Good stuff. |

Brooklyn Bridgeby JamesAComment by Citadel: I like the way you've incorporated the lines into your composition. I agree with Hotpasta on the suggestion to use monochrome. It would help bring even more focus on the lines.
This looks like a tough scene to expose for: there's some blown highlights but also some dark areas where we'd like to see more detail. Shooting from the other side of the support might have helped. (I think you could still get the same composition if I remember correctly) |

Romeby JamesAComment by Citadel: The sky is terrific in this shot. The building is interesting but it feels a bit truncated. I can't remember this building so I can't give any advice on different ways of framing it unfortunately.
I'd also be curious to see what this would like like in monochrome. |

The Accordionistby JamesAComment by scarbrd: I thought this one was underrated. I gave it a 7 in voting.
I like the composition that leads the eye from the subject tot he backgroud.
I little heavy on the blacks in the processing, but other than that, good street shot. |
