there's something cloudy about this, and I don't just mean the clouds. It lacks the sharply saturated look so prevalent in DPC landscapes... thank God. I like the way what's in the water battles with the reflections on the water. Landscapes tend to bore me but this is very pleasant to look at. I actually enjoy just sitting and looking at it. The title is apt, not because it's a sedate scene but because the act of looking is itself peaceful.

I didn't vote your photo but it got a score I think is about right. It more or less met the challenge, but didn't use selective desat to draw attention to something that would not have recieved it otherwise. It didn't use the technique to show me something new, or develope a new perspective on an old genre. If it had, it would have scored higher.

In my thinking, there is a bit of a disconnect between the title and the photo. But I may be simply notting getting what you were after.

Oh yeah, magic... the horizon line almost blends in with the sky if not for the distant land breaking the illusion. Great reflections, great light.
