New Lifeby jjusaComment by posthumous: Normally I would say the vegetation is a little blown-out (ok, I don't normally say that but somebody would), but in this case the brightness goes well with the highlights on the water. The whole effect is quite pleasant. |

New Lifeby jjusaComment by Rompy: THis is quite pretty. I like the composition and the waves in the water. |

Amongst the Reedsby jjusaComment by Rompy: I find the colors just beautiful and perfectly saturated. The blue is gorgeous. Surprised this didn't do better. |

Wandering Spiritby jjusaComment by escapetooz: this is really cool. I dunno... it seems like such a cool scene that the photo fell short for me. You really have to look at it to find the interest. And I don't mean I'd like to see the DPC no thought required type photo, just that I wish you had showcased the person and water more and left out all that you have in the foreground, it doesn't do the scene justice. Also seems a little flat on the contrast and tones. Some burning around the edges might have helped if this had been advanced editing.
A shot at an angle down the line of the water might have been cool for this. |

Wandering Spiritby jjusaComment by posthumous: Stunning. To think the only comment you got was a dnmc quibbling about the challenge topic. Sheesh.
I like that she is interrupting the flow of the photo (as represented by water). Her C-curved shape becomes integral to the composition in this way, as though by sheer act of will she divides the frame into two sections, top and bottom. |
