Sour Candyby RemieComment by leko2k: crisp, clear shot. I like this quite a bit. Maybe I'm just a sucker for a macro shot? :) The glare off the cellophane is a bit distracting but I doubt it could have helped - not if I had been doing it, that's for sure. |

Concealedby RemieComment by Remie: Thanks a lot for the comments and votes.
The description of this photo tells how it's done. Just want to add to that, that I used a 500 Watt worklight on a stand at about 4 ft distance.
I did try some shots whith a more soft lighting and with the light at a longer distance, but it made the image look flat and less dramatic.

WinterTreesby RemieComment by Remie: Thanks for the comments.
I hardly did any post-processing except lowering the saturation.
And I only used the unsharp mask very slightly to get rid of the unsharpness caused by resizing.
The scene looked like a skecth in reality, that's called nature, not overprocessing :)

Headsby RemieComment by Anachronite: seems to be over processed... but a really great idea... try toning the photoshopping down a bit... not necessary, but maybe throwing in something in the center with a single color to draw the viewers attention |

Concealedby RemieComment by DougPaz: Really well done, I love the B & W and the feel and tone of the shot. Great job, one of my favorites this week. |

Concealedby RemieComment by Gracious: I like this. Good job! I appreciate the barely there appearance, and the composition works well. |

Concealedby RemieComment by PTLParsons: You need to pay attention to details, such as a straight and smooth background. That would have improved this photo immensely. You need better, more evenly distributed light. Personally I don't like the way you hid Waldo. But that's just me. It's nothing like the Waldo books way of hiding him - out in the open but so hard to spot, among all the other people, places, and things. |

WinterTreesby RemieComment by DennisF: Takes some time, but this is a good subject. Maybe crop the top, it's so busy and take so much of the space - takes long time to find the perspective lines. |

Concealedby RemieComment by GolferDDS: I really like the simplicity of your picture. One of my top picks this week. |
