This is rhythm for sure although I don't really see what it is, I hope you explain it in your description! It looks very frosty for some reason, maybe a little too dark on the right but I guess if you had made it any lighter the left side would have blown out too much.

I like the rough feel of this photo. B&W helps that feel, and it looks great. I sugegst you put a single black pixel between your white border and your image, just to separate the white bits of the photo around teh edge, from the border.

I find nothing wrong with the angle or the cropping of your picture. Perhaps to much sharpening, but even then it makes for a very unique image. I especially like the two different perspectives, the tighter one of the left trees and the more spread out perspective of the right hand trees. The lines created by all the branches keeps the eye moving and the mind ingaged. Definitely a much higher quality picture than the score you received. Keep up the great work. John Gill

Initial thoughts
Fantastic shot, one of my faves this week, meets the challenge

Composition/ Content
Personally when I originally saw this shot I loved it. I really thought it was a ribbon winner. I like most everything about it. The softness of the lighting and tones give it a haunted look that is very appealing.

Background
The lighting is excellent but there is one spot just above you that is a bit hot. I'm not sure you could have done better though.

Camera Work - Technical
Focus seems good and the contrast is excellent for all of the white you have here. I know that some folks didn't like the squares in the cloth where you leaned against it but I think that adds to the shot.

Digital Processing - Technical
Once again, nothing of consequence to improve.

Fits The Challenge
Definitely fits the challenge well.

My Opinion On The Photo
I was tremendously surprised to see that my shot finished higher than this one. I am a big fan of yours and this shot in particular. Keep up the great work.
