From your comment, it seems you dont realise that this is a hoverfly (Episyrphus balteatus), and is in the same order (Diptera) as houseflies and fruit flies, rather than the bees-wasps-ants order (Hymenoptera). A wasp on the wing would be *really* hard to capture, as they dont hang about and spend hardly any time at all at each flower. Congrats on a top 10 place.

I think I would like this better with the negative space in front of the bee, to show where he's headed. That's just me though, I think it works either way.

Althogh the quality of this shot is not the best, I think it fits this challenge very well. The use of negative space makes it feel like your subject is moving through the frame. There is a lot of noise in the background though.
