This is an exceptionally beautiful photograph. I get a real sense of place from this. Very nice use of dawn (or maybe dusk, but I suspect not) light to capture all the details of the fur and grass so well without too many harsh shadows. It seems as though it needs rotating slightly in the counter-clockwise direction to line up that horizon properly, but nonetheless I'm giving this 10 - lisae

Initial=excellent
Composition=great! buffalo on the left in one of the thirds, and looking right. Other animals lead eye into the photo. Shows the expansiveness of the area
Clarity (focus, details)=excellent. details extend into the distance.
Exposure=well done. colors and lighting are true front and back and into the sky
Interesting or Emotive=interesting and emotive.

Wow... That's awesome that you were able to capture this. The picture, in it's entirety works very well. I like the first buffalo being as close as it is - you can imagine the size of the animal... But the rest of the picture makes you realize just how "small" it really is :) Very nice shot... 8 - JB
