Shame on you!!! You beat me! I haven't seen all of the photographs yet but this is the winner in my book. I sure hope you send us a link to the full-siize photo. Now, what do I like about it. First, the panorama, second the colors are beautifully saturated, third, the layer, the golden plain, rolling hills, snow capped mountains and finally incredible sky. The photo is excellent quality, beautifully sharp and expertly exposed, and then the composition. They say never to cut anything in half (I don't listen to what they say) but you have done exactly that It's brilliant. Congratulations!

This is a really nice photo! Silly, but well executed. I like the framing... kinda shoves the boy's face in my face... or something like that. Maybe coulda been a little tighter still. I love these unique perspectives. (8)

Critique Club Critique

(1) COMPOSITION (CONTENT) Well composed. The diagonal lines of the chains across the heart is a nice compositional detail. The pile of chains at the bottom of the photograph are perfect use of the rule of thirds.

(2) BACKGROUND The color of the background adds to the richness of the photograph and complements the deep red of the heart. The only suggestion I could make here would be to add a little more light to the background so that it becomes a little more dominate in the photograph instead of totally disappearing at the top of the frame.

(3) CAMERA WORK ,TECHNICAL Exposure is good. Composition is strong.

(4) DIGITAL PROCESSING ,TECHNICAL There is only one change that I might suggest. Your exposure and post processing got the heart richly exposed but the chains seem just a little bit burnt out. I wish I could see more detail in them. This might have been accomplished by moving in just a little closer and making the chains a bigger part of the over all photograph.

(5)MEETING THE CHALLENGE This photo does a very good job of meeting the challenge. I might have suggested putting the name of the group into the title for those of us that are getting senile, and can not remember.

(6) MY OPINION ON THE PHOTO A very good picture. Nice use of color to invoke emotion in the viewer. Good work.
