the composition itself is ncie, but i think i would have liked it more without all that extra "fluff" on the end.. looking at it closely, i cant help but think that a macro of the seed roots would have made a great photo...

This is a very nice photograph. The lighting appears to be very effective. The props are good and help this photo meet the challenge.

You have taken a common shot and transfigured it into a piece of art. Your perspective in which you have captured this moment has made an ordinary photograph outstanding.

I agree with other DPCers that say there are too many flower shots being taken for the challenges. If all of the flower shooters employed the originality of this image it would be a joy rather than a task to review them.

This is my favorite of the challenge and I am at a loss as to how 5 to 16 folks feel this an inferior shot...

Keep up the good work, and good luck in the future challenges.
