For two weeks I have been returning to this photograph. I like portraits but didn't give this higher than a 7. Why, I wondered, because those eyes and her face come out splendid, the crown in the hair and the necklace gives the idea that it is a special occasion and the lying in a landscape composition is a good idea as well.
I think my 'problem' is the arm under her head leading out of the frame to the right. It looks strange, out of place and it is lit in a similar way as the upside of the face (low fill-light?) and therefore draws attention it doesn't deserve.

THis is a great portrait, but the angle is awkward to look at. I'd like to see it rotated counter-clockwise, at least a bit.

Pretty portrait - those are some very blue eyes. The facial expression appears slightly strained, but other than that this is a good shot.
