Really incredible capture. The lightning bolt is awesome, the composition with the fence is fabulous, but the thing that stands out almost more than that is the great contrast and tones in the image. Outstanding. Ansel would be proud.

This is very nice! I would have liked to see this cropped a bit tighter on the bottom or maybe with a bit more sky at the top. The fence is cutting the frame at a point too close to center, and the foreground information is overpowering the true shot which is the rolling hils, rain, and lighting. This would have been really great if the angle had been where the fence wire began at the bottom right and came in diagonally. What a wonderful capture though.

An instant 10 from me. I thought I'd already commented & voted on this shot, something must have happened. The title is so right, this is an extremely intense shot and an amazing capture, adding to my favs. Lightening plus barbed wire plus dramatic clouds plus Clint Eastwood-style fence posts plus barren landscape equals Intense. Arrange all of the above as you have composed and it equals Intensity!
